We hired Scott for the big bathroom overhaul job that we’ve just had completed and he, Darren & Luke have done a truly fantastic job! We are delighted. From the terrific tiling (Darren is a real craftsman) to the plumbing, bathroom fitting and general management of the other elements – electrics, flooring & plastering, SMC did a great job. They provided great suggestions e.g. a bespoke wooden boxing in over the stairs to mask the slope into the bathroom, was over and above that planned but is a demonstration of them trying to make the room as perfect as possible.

Very prompt to call back and very prompt to get a leak fixed in the boiler for the tenant. My tenant said Scott was polite and speedy to resolve the leaks and put in a new filling loop. Thank you Scott for helping to keep my tenant happy 🙂

I trusted Scott from a previous job, and he again completed an excellent job – efficient with time, at a reasonable price, and a top quality job. Couldn’t fault him. Even though he was on another job and was miles away from me, when Scott heard I had no heating or hot water he came straight from that job to see to my boiler, even though it was his Mrs’s Birthday and he had made arrangements for that night! Scott and his merry men, carried out a complete new refit of our en-suite bathroom to the highest standard.
He removed the old bathroom, including tiles and re-tiled, fitted the new suite, re-plumbed, laid a new heated floor and sorted out all the electrics.
Nothing was too much trouble for the ultra-reliable Scott, whose team all arrived with smiles on their faces and were a pleasure to deal with.
He was also pretty competitive.

I hired Scott based on feedback already left for similar jobs and because of the feedback I naturally had very high expectations. Scott did not disappoint, in fact, he managed to exceed my exceed expectations with the complete respect he showed for my property and by carrying out an exceptional job for a very reasonable price. He even pointed out a scratch he had found on one of the radiators after unpacking and promptly took it back to the supplier because he was not happy to install it for me.

Scott and his team did an excellent job on our bathroom. They ripped the entire old one out and have installed everything new, including re-plasterboarding some of the walls. They were all professional and friendly, happy for us to ask questions and decide how we wanted things to be throughout the job. Darren who did the tiling did an absolutely impeccable job. Scott and Luke also did a few other bits around the house for us (putting in two new radiators and new plumbing for a washing machine) which were done quickly and neatly. They encountered a few problems during the week with some of the units and fittings that we had bought for the bathroom, they worked with us to solve any issues and worked out how to overcome any problems that may have arisen. Scott made sure all the final little touches were completed exactly how we wanted them in the bathroom and we are very pleased with the final job.

Following the fantastic, efficient, under budget (yes, really!) professional but very friendly job that Scott and his lovely team did installing our beautiful new bathroom, en-suite & cloakroom last year (see my Sept review!), we didn’t hesitate to ask him to quote us again to rip out our old tank/boiler and fit a combi when searching for a gas fitter.
Scott came out and quoted a great price equal to one we’d had earlier off a number we’d been given. Scott suggested supplying and fitting a radiator in the airing cupboard to keep it warm and useful, at the same price – PERFECT!

We arranged for Scott to service our combi boiler as it wasn’t working properly. Scott arrived on time and promptly got to work. He had the fault diagnosed quickly and also confirmed the likely cause of the fault with Worcester (the boiler manufacturer). We asked Scott to provide a price to fix the existing boiler, but to also provide a competitive price to install a new boiler as the existing boiler was in the region of 15 to 20 years old and likely inefficient. Scott provided detailed quotes the following day. We considered the price for installing the new boiler as very competitive and instructed Scott to undertake this work. As always Scott attended on time, undertook the works efficiently and cleaned up afterwards, with not a mark on our newly installed stairs and landing carpet.
